My bike got stolen!
To start off, I bought my 2002 Honda CBR 600f4i brand new back in October of 2002. This was my first street bike although I have always rode dirtbikes and ATVs since I was about 11. I had just began to really be comfortable on my bike so I decided I would take it with me to the beach for vacation.
This past week I went to Myrtle Beach, SC with about 5 friends for a week of rest, relaxation, and fun. We got there on Friday and I unloaded the bike off the truck and put it in a nice resting place for the night. I parked it in the corner of the parking lot where it was surrounded by a 6 foot concrete wall on one side and in the rear. On the other side we parked my friends Talon very close beside it so it would be extremely difficult to get out due to all the tight fittings. I had just bought a $75 cover just for this trip and that was on the bike as well. The only way any normal person would notice the bike is if they uncovered it. Trust me, the bike was vey hard to notice. The next day I went out and rode the bike around the beach for about an hour. I returned to the condo and parked it just like I had it the night before. All my friends and I then went out to play minature golf and to get something to eat. We then returned to the condo to get ready to go out for some nightlife. On our way back to the parking lot I noticed the bike was no longer there. At first I thought one of my friends might have played a joke on me by moving it somewhere. This was not the case. Someone had stolen my bike.
Since then I have got in touch with the police and the insurance company. If the bike is not recovered in 3 weeks from the day it was stolen I will get a check for the blue book's value of the bike!!! I really do not even want them to recover it just because of the fact that I know the bike that I loved and spent many joyous hours riding was stolen. It just really pisses me off to know that someone could steal something from someone that they use to clear their mind and get away from everything.
If they do not recover it and when I get the check I will most likely go buy the new 600RR!!! Ever since I saw that bike I have wanted it and knew that it would be my next bike.
Cliffnotes: My bike was stolen on my vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. Hopefully the cops will not recover the bike and I will soon be riding a new 600RR!!!

I am considering going with something bigger but right now I just do not feel that I need anything bigger than a 600. Although maybe I will just go ahead and get something bigger so I won't have to upgrade in another year or so. I am open for suggestions on what bike to get so give me all you guy's insight!!!

I feel the same way. I doubt my next bike will be a 600. True, the new RR is nice, but why not go w/ 954?

Sorry to hear that mang. Did you have any kind of lock on it? Like a disk brake lock? You had the handlebars locked right?
I say go bigger, 750 or 954 cc.
I've only been riding for about a week and I know my 600 is gonna get old soon.
