thats a easy problem to fix, had the same problem, go to any parts store and get a valve cover gasket set , take your valve cover off, the leakin is in the round rings that cover your spark plugs. replace them all and torque your valve cover back on and presto!!! it should only be like $25 at the most!!!

No kidding. I had a 95 Neon (2.0 DOHC 150hp, close ratio trans, Sport). It started doing that at 80,000 into cylinder 3. I thought it was leaking oil through the rings. I traded it in at 150,xxx and it was still running strong. If the fix had been that easy, I would have probably fixed it before the 100,xxx plateau.

Don't go to just any parts store.... Go to Acura, and ask them for a Valve cover gasket kit, ad they'll give every gasket that should be replaced when removing the valve cover...

Agreed. Honda or Acura is fine, just say 99-00 Si, GSR or ITR. it's only around $20-25
I had the same problem once, bought those gaskets and never a problem again

don't even need the helms it's so easy
just take out the bolts holding down the valve cover, remove valve cover and on the underside you should see the valve cover gasket running along the outside edge. And you'll also see 4 circle gaskets (spark plug cylinder gaskets)
Those 4 circles and the valve cover gasket are what should always be replaced everytime you take off the valve cover. Just make sure everything is put in correctly, because if the circles are upside down they wont stay put

The gasket kit is more like $45 I think.

i wouldn't pay that....
when i did mine, i paid $11 for the valve cover gasket, and around $2.50 for each circle gasket.
if you tell them "gasket kit" they'll give you everything which is not necessary to change.

valve cover main gasket and the 4 smaller spark plug hole gaskets have been quoted on this site to have been purchased from anywhere between 12 and 25 dollars... anything more than 25, and you can haggle the price down.. tell teh dealership guys and they can bring it down. Whether or not they are willing to may be a different story.
