Default Dual Master Cylinder Sizes?

Anybody out there convert their car to a dual master cylinder setup? I'm in process of doing this to my CRX and I'm not sure what size cylinders to use. I figure 3/4" for the rear and 7/10" for the fronts, but I'm not sure.

I think the answer here is that it depends..... The relative size of the master to the caliper will determine the amount of force exerted on the rotor. You will want to maintain the ratio front to rear to not upset the balance too far. The volume of the master to the volume of the caliper and the motion ratio on the brake pedal will determine the stroke of the pedal. You don't want too much or too little stroke.

While I can't be much more help than that, you may want to look at:

Hope that helps

Why? Throw a 90-91 EX MC on it. I'm running teg calipers with 11" VW rotors (Fasbrakes kit) and teg rear disks on my 90 DX Hybrid, and that thing will put your eyeballs through the windshield. 80 miles at Holtville 2 weeks ago and NO fade. Stock used to be gone in 2-3 laps. The cars only weigh 2000+/-100 lbs stock.

Because I'm building a Production car and SCCA requires that I put in a dual master cylinder setup.
