...if your stock Prelude was SuperCharged? I have been asked this several times (they ask because of a sound it makes, and since I am inside the car I don't hear it.)

Just wondering, I thought it was kind of a wierd question to be asked, myself.

 

Hehe, do you have an aftermarket intake? If you did, it would make some sort of sense I guess?

 

I got asked that before I even had intake. Only skunk2 exhaust. Two people thought so at the same time

 

oh nevermind, I have a base. (no sound difference)

 

what kind of sound are you talkin about? i woulnd't even know. all i hear IS my supercharger what's this other sound that the SH makes that the base doesn't???

I look stock, no JRSC badges or nothing. No one asks me if I have a blower or not, I raced a Civic Si who supposively had an intake but the motor sounded a lot stronger than a regular SI motor. He saw my boost gauge and thought I had Nitrous hooked up lol so Go figure

 

I don't know the sound...I have never heard it. I have been asked by a few people that have I have raced. I don't know why, I run the quarter mile in what a normal stock SH should run.

 

lol last week at the track they told my brother if his prelude(SH) was turbocharged. my brother told them no just had bolt-ons. i guess they make some wierd sound.

 

well the JRSC'd ludes i've heard have this distinct whine... maybe stock sometimes sounds similar..?

It must be the infamous heat shield rattle.. That is the only sound the SH makes differently.

Yes and no. All but one have been ricers. The one, was a guy working a corner at an AutoX.

...but I've been asked if the 'Lude was RWD, too. Go figure.
