Compressor Difference?
Well my A/C compressor decided to take a crap on me, just when it's beginning to get hot. How do I tell which A/C compressor I have?
Of it helps, I have a 91 CRX HF.
Thanks.

check out this link. pictured is a Sanden compressor

and here, i just took a pic of my Matsushita... ( which is for sale
)

the most visible differences between the Matsushita and Sanden compressors are how the A/C lines bolt on and where that over-heat thing (WTF is it called?) sits.

i don't know the part number, but you can pick the compressor up from your local autoparts store. i just went by Autozone and told them i needed a Sanden for an 89 civic. if they don't know what you mean, you can always ask to open the box and make sure you are getting what you need.
sanden comp 91 CRX P/N is38800-PM9-A12
according to honda parts manual complete comp no longer available.
guess you got to go rebuilt.
