B16A(first gen)
GSR tranny
Type R flywheel with Clutchmasters Stage3 clutch kit
USDM ITR exhaust manifold with straightpipe and modified GSR midpipe to Mugen axleback
"mugen" p28 with B&M FPR & gauge

Just your basic B16 swap with boltons. It's not fast. I've only ran it at the dragstrip twice, and bested a 15.3...I definitely feel I could hit a 14.9 now since I have done some things to it.

i'm telling you man, get a nice 4-2-1 header. MIDRANGE rocks in a b16.....and that header will help give you what your power curve is lacking.

This is what I'm doing to my b16a2 right now and I can't wait to get it on the dyno to have it tuned. I hope to hit at least 200whp.

I've got some bad news for you buddy, you're most definately not going to hit 200whp. You'd be lucky to hit 160 with a decent tuner. 200 whp on a B16 is incredibly difficult, unless you're running 12+:1 compression and C's or other nasty cams.

You're a little off the topic but when I get it tuned I will IM you the dyno chart. Maybe I won't hit 200whp but I will be far closer than 160whp.

Did you do all the work yourself? I'm doing everything myself includeing honeing the block, port and polishing the head, balancing the crank, blueprinting the engine and putting it all back together. I probably saving at least 3k and I spent 2.5k for the parts. I think I can get over 200whp with a little more work on the engine if I havn't got there yet. But I won't know until I finish up my engine this weekend and have it tuned.

Dude, with that set up u won't hit 200whp not even close. what u need is to balance your block, u will need bigger cams ( ctr cams are not that big ) high compression valves, and don't buy useless stuff like cold air intake or dc headers, all u need for that is a better filter ( that will save u some money ) and get a ligther flywheel to trasnfer more HP's to the wheels.

If u listen carefully and don't waste your money in ricy stuff u might get up to 190whp with a proper tune.
And remember, is not how much HP u have, but who is a better driver.

Darton Sleeves, 12.5:1 JE Pistons, Crower Rods, Blueprinter and Balanced, Portflow head, Complete with Ferrea Valves etc, Toda Cs, Skunk 2 IM, SMSP Header, Custom Air Intake, Quaife LSD, Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel, blah blah blah, all that stuff, tuning with Hondata. The usual, shooting for 200 WHP. All going in a streetable CRX.

well the key word there is the 12.5:1 compresion. but that motor alone is like 5g's so if u wanna spend all that money in a FF car go ahead.

My friend had the similiar setup, with some more goodies and only made 168 and 109.

All I am trying to say is good luck, if you do it congrats. But, I think it is going to be hard with those cams, header, and exhaust.

sorry buddy you will be luck to see 165whp with that setup!. Honestly making a B16 NA go fast and make high HP is very expensive. My tech guy has a Delsol that came with the stock B16a2. I don't know all the detailas to his set up buy here i what i know

KingMotorsports race head...... (i asked his why he didn't want to go with portflow and others and he told me that he wanted to be different and also got a good deal with King)
-Jun3 cams
-Jun head package (retainters, valvesprings)
-Jun 1mm over sized valves
ngk plugs
magnacore wires
msd ingniton SCI with blaster coil2
Jun 1.8 stroker kit (fully balanced with high compressin Jun pistons)..he wouldn't tell me what his cr is, even though i've asked like 8times
Jun flywheel
dc 4-2-1 headers(.... one of his last priortiy in his setup)
Ebay intake(not CAI)
B16 tranny with Qualfi LSD
CM stage 3 clutch
RC 310cc
B&M FPR
Greddy sp exhust

So far he has only made 219whp'ish and about 138tq. His fastest time is 13.4 with crappy 60ft times of 2.1 . This run was with a bad head and slick. Delsol weigh alot more than civics so when i see him in action it looks totally amazing. The only weight reduction he had on this run was no passenger seat, spare tire, and CF hood. With a lighter car he could be deep into the 12's.

the thing is that he still has power to be made with a better head, better headers than 4-2-1 dc header, and a CAI. I also don't know if he has a stock 58mm TB or if he has a bigger one. Also his stock B16 manifold.... that could be up grade to ITR. with those different mods he should be making about 228whp. I think he's gonna get some ANR or custom header. He also will be boring his block out to 85mm to make it a 2.0.

HTH

yeah it's a dope setup even though if you look at real close those are ls/vtec numbers!

why? because the jun stroker kit uses a ls crank causing compression and torque to be bumped up!

I'm willing to bet money that ls/vtec dyno would match this setup ( well if all the same bold on stuff too!)

dotn get me wrong I think it's a dope set-up!
