Replacing front windshield
Does windshields from 88-91 civic hatch is the same on 88-91 CRX. I have to replace my windshield this week and on junk yard they have only EF hatch, sedans and first gen CRX.
Any body know which is the same as CRX or all of them are the same?
Thanks
Tom

I don't think they are the same.
Just call a windshield repair place near you. They usually come to you and replace it while your at work or where ever you may be at. I had mine replaced, ( 100.00 ) and that was everything.

$100.00? That's DIRT cheap. I was quoted $222.00 for fixing my driver's side window- I fixed it myself for $54.00 using a JY window. Sorry, I guess this isn't too relevant to the original post.....
Check the part numbers at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com (Majestic Honda). I wouldn't think they're the same though, as the Civic has different body lines than the CRX (slight differences, but enough to make certain items not fit).
thier different when my crx is next to my hatch i noticed it was a lot taller than a crx windshield. BTW I paid $205 for a new windshield installed that was a fair price in my area
S**** i just checked the front windshields of all civic and they all different. I think i have to pay some $$$$$ for this stupid windshield which i crack it( i was trying to take it out). Damn what now. Dont you think guys if i meausure my windshield and the others from civic's maybe something will fit.
Thanks to all you that reply to my post.

no you need a crx windshield
i am getting one put in tomorrow and im paying 160 installed in my driveway. (89 hatch) i think the civic is cheaper than the crx because my friend couldnt get any cheaper than 225 installed and he had to take it in to get it done. good luck and make shure the place that putts it in will fix it if it ever leaks.
