I saw this car in person at etown 2 years ago... I saw it driving in and was like WTF is that thing!?!? Then I walked up to it, and saw a CIVIC DASH!!! I was like WTF!!! The car is IMMACULATE as far as body work goes... Its all molded metal... VERY NICELY done... Not a single wave in the whole body, all the edges are rolled, TOP NOTCH work... But yes, it is ugly

molded metal? are you sure its not fiberglass. Molding metal panels would cost a fortune.

waste of money? the guy wanted a show car, so he built a show car.. a waste of money is having spoon, mugen, or any other race part and not racing your car..or having a VAFC and not having the car tuned.. but there is nothing wrong with building a show car and showing it..
