seat belt in door... removal?

Default seat belt in door... removal?

i have the seatbelts in my doors and some of you make know... there heavy as hell. so i gutted the rear. is there a way that i can use the rear seat belts in the front on the b pillars like other hatchies. that way i can take the ones out of my doors and save some weight

the only safe way to do this is to get a 3,4, or 5 point harness. There arent enought threaded holes in the chassis to support a seat belt in the b pillar. Your riight those seat beats weight alot considering there are two retrator/lock mechanisims on the setup.

im saying, do you think i could use the rear seat belts in the pillar right behind the door.... like instead of them being in the door there in the pillar like nmost other civics. and then near the floor.
