Default LS-Vtec smog in TX????

Hello I have a 88' DX hatch and they just like this month started smog testing in Johnson CO where I live here in TX. I was just wondering if anyone has a LS-Vtec in their EF and has passed smog? I havent tried yet but am just wondering. I have no engine codes and a brand new o2 sensor so does anyone know why I wouldnt be able to pass? Any help would be much appreciated.

you should do just fine. i almost passed with my ls/vtec (11.5:1 CR) a few months ago and i am confident i would pass today if i had the spare ~$41 right now.

when i tested originally i was using
1. a GSR t-belt with a 19 tooth water pump which caused my ignition (and cam) timing to suck and my engine to knock if under heavy loads
2. i was using 390cc injectors "butt-dyno tuned" with a VAFC without knowing what my A/F ratio was
3. my car tried to overheat while on the damn dyno because my CTS stopped working and killed my cooling fan.
4. a mugen chipped PR3

now that my t-belt problem is fixed and i no longer use the mugen chip, if i switched back to 240 injectors for the smog i bet i would pass with flying colors.
