I was just wondering if anyone on board knew whether or not I would be able to fit the JDM SiR hood on my 88 CRX Si with just the fenders and the headlights? Will the headlights fit the USDM front bumper with some cutting? Not sure if I want to go through with the entire conversion because I'm still not 100% sure what labor/modifications are involved (I know that I need the radiator support-not sure what's involved to fit that with my place racing crossmember and 92 civic radiator setup). I'm just trying to clear my B-series motor and the JDM Style CF hood for USDM CRXs by Fiber Images is just way overpriced imo. TIA.

 

it wil fit but you need to to cut the bumper for the jdm headlights, do it carefuly or else its gona end up looking like crap, why dont u just get a jdm sir hood, jdm bumper, jdm headlights? you dont really need a rad support

 

i dont know why you would use the jdm fenders and headlights to clear up room for your b=series swap?

the bumper will look ok if you trim to fit the headlights, but the hood will look really bad, gappy. i would suggest cutting the ribs off your usdm hood that should be enough to clear the motor.

 

the ribs have already been cut and the motor still rubs. and i'm not using the fenders and headlights to clear up room for the swap. i need those to use the sir hood.

 

get the whole conversion or the fiber images hood... those would be my two options that I would weigh
