spark Plug index washers..... DO they work???
I saw one of those "Horsepower" TV shows where they talked about indexing the spark plugs. I am also interested if this a tried and true method of making a small power increase. I guess the main reason is to get the most efficient burn. I can understand how having them all indexed to the same position would also help ensure each cylinder is firing evenly(making same power). Any real experts out there on this subject?

I always index my plugs. Tip of the electrode facing the exhaust side of the combustion chamber.
I've had good luck with Honda/NGK BKR7E-N-11(Honda p/n 98079-5714J)

I wouldnt worry about it too much on b-series motors. Since the plugs
sit in the top of the chamber they arent too shrouded by anything.
These arent those V8s you see on those tv shows

This is a fine tuning detail that will not make noticable gains, but it definitely isn't going to hurt anything. If your car is FI, then I would say it was worth it.
Yeah, from now on I'll just forget about using them plugs. Tanks for the input Steve......indexing those plugs are pretty time consuming.
