nice waste of bandwidth, guys. English probably isn't his first language.

The Falken Azenis are heavy tires. I would say don't worry about it, just get some wider rims, 6" is too skinny for 205/50 Azenis.

Okay, let's entertain the premise: his question, I believe, is why the firehawk setup is comprable in weight to the azenis setup. Well, as you stated, the azenis is a heavy tire, and to the original poster: While the firehawk setup may be lighter, the azenis setup will offer far more grip, and hence be more beneicial in a track application, so use the azenis setup. Is/was that your question? Oh, and Ross, I'm an ESL case, too.

It doesn't matter the weight; if you're new to autocross, you'll have many more things to worry about then a few pounds extra on your wheel setup. The Azenis are a heavy tire, and that should account for the weight difference.

Seems like you turned out all right.

I can never tell with these Canadian guys whether they're French-speaking, or FOBs from China or Korea.

The 6.5" or even a 7" wide wheel would work out good for the 205/50 Azenis.
