RPM throttle bodys?
If i swap my oem throttle body to a rpm one should i go 70 or 72mm with stock internals? Im asking also if I go to 70 or 72mm if it will hurt me in anyway? And has anyone ever used this throttle body before?? And will this fit my comptech air intake?
I assume you have a stock 2001 gsr. Using a 70 mm or 72 mm throttle body is not recommended because your GSR is stock. I recommend going 62-66 mm if you plan on leaving your car stock.
RPM Service Throttle Bodies are the original manufacture of the forged 68~70mm TB's that you see out there ei STR and Erick's Racing. First of all, if your stayin NA, then you dont wanna go over 66mm..also, a large bore TB should be one of the last things you should get. If your gonna keep your stock internals, then dont waste your money; but then again, its your money...
