Default 215/45/16 Tires

Is that what the JMD Type-R has? If so, would this size rub if I got it for my car? My order for S03s is still waiting at the tirerack, so I could change it before it ships. I am currenly getting the 205/45/16s.

OK, so if I got the Mugen Lowdown suspension, which I will pretty soon, then I am screwed (it lowers the car 3/4 inch, I believe).

Not if you have 50mm (stock) offset rims. Even +43 should be ok.

I have 225/40-16s (Pirellis) on my R that is dropped 2" and don't rub. I will probably be able to get a 225/45 under there even

i think you would be ok actually....but you might have to shave the inside of your fenders.

I just got a set of 215-45-16's and I have it lowered about an inch...no rub, but I had my fenders (rear) shaved a bit...enough clearance for me...I am using +45 offset Spoon wheels too...hope this helps

You'll be fine. I highly recommend that size. Falken Azenis tires are now available in that size I believe.

i notice u lose abit of acceleration with the larger diameter, but the extra grip more than makes up for it.
