rod length to crank arm ratio for GSR??
hey guys/gals , i'm doing a project for class and i need to know the factory rod length to crank arm ratio. i tried looking in my Helm's manual, but i can't find it.
thanks!!
thanks!!
IONO if you mean Rod/Stroke Ratio or "rod length to crank arm ratio"???
but if you mean R/S ratio then you just get the length of the rod ( http://www.crower.com /honda/rods ) then divide it by the stroke of the crank (87.2mm). Hence, Rod divided Stroke! .."R/S"..! it should equal about 1.58...
But if you actually mean "rod length to crank arm ratio" then i guess the "crank arm" could be considered half the stroke...you can do the math..
87.2/2 = ans
ans/rod length = final answer.
