Water Temp. Gauge went crazy yesterday!!!
REWRITTEN sorry i wrote too fast the first time.
yesterday i was driving home from a party and i noticed my water temperature gauge at high speeds going with acceleration my car. so the more gas i would give it the higher the water temperture gauge.
Then when i got off the free way the water temperature gauge was going with response of my tranny, when my tranny shifted of course rpm's drop the gauge would also lower .
When i got home i checked under my hood, my car didn't smell, didn't smoke or anything like that. i took off my thermostat a while back? what up with my gauge, should i get a new cluster?

Rewrite that entire post so I can read it - and so that everyone else on here may read it as well - it makes little to no sense.
Not hating, just trying to help your chance for responses.

So, let me get this straight, you have absolutely no thermostat in the thermostat housing right now?
Other possibilities:
The thermosistor in the ECT gauge sending unit might have taken a crap, or you really have a blown headgasket.
Make the usual round of checks for both cases.

Also check engine grounds. The sender for the temperature gauge only has one wire. It needs the engine to be properly grounded to the chassis.
