Default engine rebuild turbo style

Since i'm rebuilding the H23, what measures should i take to prepare for my later turbo addition? i am getting new sleeves and boring them out, the rest is left open. i'm thinking forged pistons and new rods. where should i take the comp. ratio to? ideas?

Hey, please allow me to point you in the direction of the Official Turbo Thread
if you haven't read this yet, this is a great place to start if you want to know where to take the ratios and everything.
It really depends on how much boost you want to run- how you'll have to build it...but hopefully you can find the patience to fish through this literature. its helpful stuff.
Good luck with your build. and always remember to search the forums.

i've been searching the forums, no luck on the ratios there, and i'm not yet through the entire turbo thread, but it looked to me like it wasn't going in that direction. i'll keep reading, but any additional info would be great.

a good rule of thumb is do not drop it more than one point lower than your stock comp ratio

everything else you need you can probably find by just looking at some of our setups in the turbo thread
