What should I rev to????
I am installing Toda spec B cams/gears/springs/belt plus a chipped p-28 ecu in my 00 Civic Si next week --I heard the cams power dips off over 8400. So my question is what rpm should I shift at? Thank in advance..
Toda B's can go up to 9000 no problem... Depend if your chip p28 whats the redline on your p28... But i have seen those cam make power up to 9000 before it drop.
My B's peak around 8400. With Toda springs you can rev to 9500 w/ no problem, but that doesn't necessarily dictate where you should shift. I don't know if the peak would be any different in a b16, mine are in a b18.
I would say with a built vavle train you should be safe revving to 8400-9000, I have S2 stage 1's with S2 vavle springs, i rev to 8500 no prob. But I would think that the Toda B's would make power slightly past 9000, plus it depends what the p28's rev limiter is.
