just figured I'd let everyone know...pretty nice tire too...

went with 215-45-16 on my spoon wheels...they just barely fit, should be OK as far as rubbing, but due to a previous set of wheels, I had shaved the edges of the lip on the wheel wells...

They look nice and fat, haven't really had the time to really test em out though, but definitely sticky...

Has anyone tried these out on a road course? I was thinking about putting these on my stock R rims for a track day that I'm about to go to in September. Any input on how well they'll hold up on the track?

Thas funny I got mine mounted yesterday, too........

I'm using 205/50-15 w/ stock rims.....

I heard rubbing while locking the wheel to the right so they might need to be shaved!

so far I put about a good 75 miles on em'.......

went up in P.V and took some turns, uphill and downhill.....

but just waitin for Buttonwillow on Saturday and the we'll see!

i was thinking about swapping 2 of my bald RE10's with Ecsta 712's but i heard i would get pretty bad oversteer with front kumhos and back RE10's, i just decided to buy a whole set of ecstas pretty cheap too..

 

The Azenis aren't bad especially for the price but for ultimate grip, the 32R grip quite a bit better....

The Falken's can scream pretty loudly around the corners but they still grip which is pretty nice hahaa....

I'm still on my 32R but will probably switch to the Azenis for daily drivers the next time around.....

 

So where in Van sells this tire?

I contacted them (Falken) about local dealers that carry the Azenis tire (not just falken dealers) and they directed me to two locations...

Both happened to be wholesale tire places that sell to businesses, but they let me purchase the last 4 they had....$89/tire for 215-45-16's

I would recommend doing that b/c the dealer locator portion of Falken's website doesn't work...

How loud are they on the road? I know the Pirelli P7000's are loud.

 

as far as I can hear, not too loud, but that doesn't really matter to me anyway, my exhasut drowns out any other sound on the road anyway....

I can still hear sirens though, for all you safety minded folk!

 

im going to install mine right now..they are cool , they look very JDM ( well they are made in japan) so i will post a review later...
