Got ITR Wallpapers? I do! 1600x1200 res, montages, inversions, 56k grave, photoshop and a website.
G'day all - some new stuff for you.
I redid some of my old pictures, making some of them at 1600x1200 resolution now. And of course... looking much better than before.
Firstly, here are some montage pictures.

You know these kind of pics right? You load it up, reposition it to the centre of your screen, than sit back a metre or so away and look at the bigger pic. The big pic is made up of lots of little pics.
I heard that you can do this easily with special programs, i don't know of any of them - but i did this in adobe photoshop 7. And it was a very long, slow and painful process to do it in photoshop, but at least you get complete control over how it'll turn out.
Next, heres some pics (some are new) - plus their inverted twins!
Before
Inverted
This technique is called motion path blurring. And it is VERY hard to do. Basically, it's motion blur.. but in curves.
I snapped a pic of a Porsche Boxster ages back.
Inverted
One of my old favourites... redone and improved. 1600x1200 version available (read below)
Inverted!
Photoshopped Drift (fake)
Inverted (turns to gold)
Yellow Reflections
Inverted again
My old favourite "waves of light" picture of my friends Honda Civic with flexiglows. Taken of course with slow shutter.
You can do these to your pics, just simple inversion in photoshop (or any other decent image editing program).
If you would like me to do the blur effects, photo retouching, adjustments and of course inversion on any other pics (such as your own). I'll be happy to do so, provided they have potential for work (ie good base for the effects)
Thanks Flux for giving me that Integra Type R Logo
With all of these pictures, growing demand for copies and larger versions. I've decided to finally make some use of my allocated ISP webspace. I have uploaded nearly ALL of my work, including previous ones, plus many of these (and other) pictures at 1600x1200 resolution. There are some other pics there as well.
I'm sorry for adding my name on these, i've had this growing problem with people using my pictures and trying to sell them. (that Redline tacho pic was a nightmare to chase around for). I don't mind wallpapers, avatars and stuff. But to use it to make money, thats copyright breach!
Instead of adding new pics here, and all the other forums that i hang out on. It's easier to just update the site instead. Since i've averaged a new pic at least twice a day recently.
Thanks for looking and reading. I hope you liked some of them, help me keep this post up if you do!
I uploaded all my work here: http://home.iprimus.com.au/eas...n.htm
Please don't comment on how crap my website is, it's not even a website really, just a place for me to store my work. But critiques on my photos are more than welcome.. i'm always open for criticisms and recommendations.
If this post has problems with the links.. be patient please. I'll try and fix em.
Oh and in other news, i get my car back from the repairers this week, can't wait! More pics to take!!!

Nice work man, any way you can explain how the motion curve blur, I think thats what it was, works. Thanks
Start out by making it into a layer, copy it into a new document thats much larger. Use distort-> shear to bend it so that it's flat and allowing traditional motion blur to work.
After that i blur the whole thing alittle bit, then fraction by fraction i cut the thing down and feather it as i go closer (or near the front of the pic where the blur has to be stronger). I feather each time i cut down my selection.
Then you have to shear/distort it back into shape, copy the layer back on and hope for the best.
It's not easy, and it's very messy. Thats why it's so hard.
I beleive Adobe is working on "Motion Path Blurring", as a standard filter, but until then.. this cumbersome way has to go.

Nice pics...these types of pictures are called mosaic, not montage though
A montage is essentially a collage, just a bunch of pictures placed into one...whereas a mosaic makes a larger picture

I really like the wallpapers.
The only thing I have a complaint about is when I use it as a wallpaper it leaves a white border. It would look better IMO if there was no border. I have been looking for wallpapers/pics of a yellow ITR so I am glad you are providing them. Keep up the good work

The pictures themselves are very nice - look like press photos in some - but the effects placed on most are just color inversions and dont look as good, IMO. I'd stay away from that stuff.
