Just browsN thru autotrader and whataya know, I stumbled upon this

You guys think this is worth what the seller is askN for ? btw he's askin for $7000 and heres whats included in the package:

actually just tell them its "fast and furious" sold
thats what everyone around here does when they post their cars up in the autotrader

 

thats a nice hatch. i considered buying it, but the shaved door handles turned me away. that was the only thing that bothered me..

U can always swap doors wit a buddy who might have difference in opinion about the shaved doors.

 

at my local track,..they wont let you run with shaved door handles,...i wouldnt shave my handles,..im just gonna get rear 4dr handles

 

7G's .. you'll get that easly .. Nice looking car IMO

 

salvage + visible bondo. (shaved moldings and handles) makes u wonder

Your gonna have to swap doors with a buddy that has his moldings shaved off as well

 

Salavage title= Maybe 4-5 g's....and even then. Salvage could mean it got stripped or it could've been rolled.

 

I agree, the salvage title will take quite a bit of value off the car. I'm not a fan of shaved door handles either. Car looks nice, but IMO not worth $7k. Maybe $5k..

i actually kind of like it, i was looking at a hatch with shaved door handles but the track thats near me ( i use the term near losely because its an hour and a half away) wouldnt let me run with shaved door handles either and since a big part of my plans was going to the track it just wasnt worth the trouble.

Because you dont know what the hell is wrong with the car, maybe the car was crashed to little tiny bits and put together by some autobody shop that isnt even known and did a bad job on it, might even fall apart on the freeway. I think it was some guy in here or on some other forum that found a trash bag in his steering wheel as an airbag.

i have seen that car and he does drive it around.....looks pretty good in person too...i say 6k wouldnt be that bad...its just that he probably did the work himself because just the motor runs 2500 at least not including mounts and such and since he had it for a while he has the old school hasport mounts that were less desired to say the least....but 6k if the car drives fine and if u do ur homework and watchout what to look for....no check light could mean they pulled the cel bulb...i seen it happen b4 too...if u wanna checl the bulb just pull a sensor plug like vtec or sumthing....

 

It looks even more like an egg with the shaved handles/side molding and front lip spoiler.

 

dont buy someone elses project. you dont want someone elses headaches.
