Would you need a roll cage for that, would removing that much roof affect the stablity of the car ?

 

yes removing that much of the roof will lose stability,..and if that car EVER saw some track time it would DEFINITELY need a roll cage,...hell if i was the owner i would still look into a roll cage for daily driving,..you never know,..you could flip the car taking a corner to fast in the rain and clipping a rail or something,...with just glass there,..your *** would be done if the car flipped

 

looks perdy cool. I wonder what the headliner looks like. You know what else would be interesting is if they replaced the glass with a sheet of carbonfiber.

Do people ever buy these high priced cars?

yea you can always find some sucker out there to buy a car for the price people ask for,..it might take longer but there is always someone out there that is willing to pay for the first price you want to let it go for

 

i like the look too in an different way... the shaved gas door is somewhat appealing!!

 

hey guys, i always wanted black leather interior for my 94 civic hatchback. but i just dont know where to go to look for it.

im plannign to be black leather GSR seats.
But now im stuck on where to get rear seats that fit, or do i hav eto custom do them myself?..

you can either get your rear custom wrapped in leather or you can get rear GSR leather seats,..i think 4dr will work better then 2dr teg rear seats but i dont remember exactly

its probably not that bad,..its tinted,..my sunroof is tinted and its okay during really sunny days when i have the sunroof door open and the sunroof closed

 

looking at the headrests, the owner jus got the seats wrap at a upholstery store.

go for it!, i need to do that also, to my driver side seat, since the stock vinyl is all ripping and tearing

Very cool for a showcar

Did anyone read the SCC where they put a big carbon fiber panel in place of their Mini's sunroof? It was pretty cool.

Guess they were going for the JDM CRX glass roof look.

Kinda cool. Definitely lost some stiffness, though.

 

The car only has 1652 miles, and it's a '92 model, so it isn't driven on a regular basis.

i dont see why you bandwagon people have to say its nice for a showcar, its ok for you to admit that when body kits and shaving are done proper that the car doesn't have to be labled "a show car", It has a semi built ls-vtec the car probably runs a low 13 second quarter or better. its all a matter of personal taste, kits or lips, shaving or not to shave. to each his own , but that car is badass

Well, think about this, he did all that motor work but kept the LS tranny
A GSR tranny would help out a lot if he ever tracked the car. The LS tranny is only good for cruising around on the street cause of the longer gears.

But this is obviously not a track or street car and not a daily driver, so I see nothing wrong with the label "Show Car."

And yes it is pretty nice to look at, but I wouldn't want to have that glass roof.
Seems like you would just be asking for trouble if that ever started leaking.

Looks cool though.

 

I never started this post trying to bash the car I think its beautiful ! The work is well done it has a nice engine exc. I just think that if you cut your entire roof out to replace it with glass you pritty much deligate your self as a "show car" theres nothing wrong with that I think this car is awsome I just wanted to share

Wow, that roof is phat, until some jackass on the side of a bridge, decides he wants to throw a rock or object off the bridge, and kills you and your passengers...I think it would be high maintenance to keep that thing from being destroyed with all the dumbasses around the globe.

 

I knwo that car- i knwo tha guys that built it.
Believe me its not worth it!!!
tha paint is a mess. tha roof saggs - that car has been a work in progress for over 2yrs.. - tha shop that did tha work.. did a good job in some areas & a iffy job in otheres. - i knwo tha car has been sprayed that color on 2 other sep occasians - tha 1st 2 times they said they didnt scuff tha area b4 sprayin tha car down.. who tha f*k does that! amatures!
& tha plexi roof- they had soo many issues w/ that thing.. When tha sun beats down on it.. it will start to sag.. & SAGG HARD CORE!
