is prelude insurance generally expensive? I am thinking about getting a 98 base model. I currently have a 96 GSR and it's a little high but not too bad.

 

if insurance is the only thing that would deter you from getting a prelude, then u shouldn't get a prelude - peace

 

depends on which model. I have a 93 vtec and am 19 years old. I started paying $309/month, now im paying $209/month (a bigger downpayment for insurance makes a diff). Oh yeah when i first got my lude i only had my license for about 2 months or so.

 

alright, well I'm 21 and have a clean record. From what I've heard it's a lot higher than gsr insurance is why I am asking. GSR insurance is expensive, because of the model and because integra's are the #1 stolen car per capita.

 

actually i GSR insurance is more and I forgot to mention that i am paying for Full Insurance

 

I think my insurance went up a little when I went from a 95 GSR to a 98 Type SH.

I really don't think that it was a big difference, but that was back in 98 and I can't remember the exact amount!

I pay about $47 a month for full coverage on my SH. (State Farm)
