Default drag radials or slicks

ok not really EG related but i want your opinions

i have a daily driven EH2 i try to take the track a couple times a month
dont go to street races but i mess around on the street sometimes

eh2
b16a
10 psi on a t3/t04e w/ hondata (so close i can taste it)
clutch master stage 3 clutch
dss stage 1 axles

i really want to pull some nice times at the strip
(i want a timeslip i can be proud of)

but also dont wanna be embarrased on the street cause i have no traction with my khumos

i drive a little less than 1000 miles a month

will i break an axles with on slicks and lensos ???

will i have to buy drag radials every 6 months ???

what the hell do i do???

thanks guys

I wouldnt drive around on drag radials.
they'll only last you a few months, and in ANY wet conditions they're F*CKED!

if I were you, i'd just get the stickiest freaking drag radials or slicks you can afford, and only put em on when your going to the track.

you shouldnt get embarassed on the street with your kumhos.. unless you cant drive for **** or something.

For the track slick's are the only way to go, you get a better compound with no tread. Good Luck and be safe John @ M&H.

honestly u say that u arent a very good shoe then i would say that u buy some good street tires i.e. azenis or something similar and just practice. get good on what u have before u waste money on burning up drag radials or slicks

well like i siad i only have 4 runs in
my best was a 2.3 60 ft

i know i can do better

im just scared to break axles on the slicks
and i cant afford to buy some stronger axles right now

so i guess i will just pick up some bfg drag radials for my fn01rs and drive on them everyday
i mean there only like 105 each so it wont break my bank to bad

or
i have a set of 14 inch steelies
can i mount some bfgs on them???

that way they only get used at the track???

thanks guys

I went to Island on Friday with my new Azenis and was able to do a 2.1 60' time.
