Default Car Wont Start...

Ok, bought my second 94 accord coupe LX, the first one i have completely built with H22 etc, well, this is the case, i bought this car in august of 2001 when i lived in Georgia, and the car was fine, i had it lowered like 3.5 inches, great car, i messed up the oil pan once, got it replaced, no problems, even drove the darn thing fully packed with my **** home to NJ, not a single problem, well, as soon as i get home, my car starts having hard starts, takes like ten minutes to turn the sucker on, just sits there and is like ch ch ch ch ch ch, then it seems like when you do it for long enough it kinda kicks in and the car starts, so slowly as time progressed, the car wouldnt start without a jump start, and now at its peak of shittyness it is sitting in my driveway, with 18 inch wheels, carbon fiber hood and a whole list of JDM parts on it including stanley headlights!, not starting, can anyone relate or shed light on this, it is so annoying, and i am scared if i take it to the dealership i'll get a new ******* torn in my already ***** like wallet...so please! P.S. if you are helpful and it works out for me, i will take you out to lunch!

does it actually try and turn over when you start it? it could be your main fuel pump
or maybe your battery needs to be replaced since you have to keep jumping the car
to get it to start. Try taking ur car to les scwab or sears to have them test the
life of the battery..hopefully this helps
Ps: i don't think you'd be happy to fly me 2000 miles to take me out to lunch,
i'm pretty high maintenance

haha, 2000 miles for lunch, lol, i'll send you a coupon, well, thanks for the input, the battery, as you mentioned i had changed, and its a new one, and i can still run my alarm and my system even with the car not turning over, so its not the battery, but the fuel pump huh? well, when i pumo the gas i can smell it, i dont know if thats a good or bad sign, but i know the gas is getting in there, but the way the car would start is a clue, because it would eventually 'catch' and crank up, know what i mean? so i think it might have to do with the car not providing enough spark...i figured its either the alternator or the distributor assembly which might been replacing, either way its gonna be in the hundreds...so YAY...but please, if you know anymore on those 2 things i mentioned, feel free to add Feedback! thanks a bunch!

as far as the battery, its not the battery, of all those times i think the alarm being on drained the battery, i have a new one in there now, and the car still doesnt start, the idea of the alternator is one that has run through my mind, but again, i cant be sure, the car tries to start and you hear the typical honda, CH CH CH, coming from under the hood, i just dont know, for example, if a cars alternator went, could it be started by being jump started? know what i mean? this problem is becoming an epidemic! thanks for the input, if you can think of anything else please feel free to add more posts...i desperately need help...thanks a bunch~!
