Default Skunk 2 ECU Program

I was thinking about getting a sk2 stage one camshaft but then i was thinking what about the sk2 ecu program? Would it be better to get the ecu program or the cam? Which would make better gains. the ecu and the harness costs about 500 and the cam is 320 plus 150 for a install. If i get the ecu does it just hook up to my stock ecu? If it does it would be a really easy install right? Also do you think i could use a nitrious setup with this ecu?

get the cam and install it your self. that would be the best bang for the buck.

just my two cents.

you don't need anything as aggressive as skunk2 program it will simply run too rich for most mild setups. there are other alternatives for harnesses and ecus (check sig or pm me ) depending on the car the ecu will either just plug up and/or will work with a harness converter.

nos setups require fuel but not aggressive ignition maps in which case you need to be careful with the skunk2 program.
