This was a motor built for my Honda Challenge car, but we decided to go with B16A's in both cars, so I might as well put this up for sale. This motor is completely assembled with all new bearings, seals, and gaskets. The head and block are both shaved 0.010" and a custom Cometic head gasket was used to make up for this (0.020" thicker). I have never fired this motor up. The head was torqued down and all sensors were put on about 3 weeks ago.
I would recommend running a Hondata or other engine management on this motor to make the most of its potential. I can throw in some OBD1 injectors and an OBD1 D16Z6 distributor if desired. Looking for $2000 for the whole package. Willing to split it up if you can find buyers for the rest of it.
I'm located in OC, email or IM me if interested.
Bottom end:
D16A6 block (honed, stock bore)
D16A6 crank
ZC Rods (used, shotpeened)
D16A1 (88-89) pistons (brand new)
D16Y8 cast aluminum oil pan
D16Y8 oil pump (brand new)
Fidanza 8lb aluminum flywheel (new)
Exedy organic clutch (new)
Balanced professionally from crank to pressure plate
Top end:
D16Y8 cylinder head professionally ported by Alaniz Technologies
Crower 63442 (Stage 2) cam
Crower valvesprings and titanium retainers
D16Y8 intake manifold (new)
1G B16A throttle body
Trans:
ZC trans with Si final drive
Rebuilt 1 year ago with new synchros
Includes ZC intermediate shaft (fits on D16A6 block)

I guess I will have to come up with prices for separate parts, since no one wants it all.
