DOH! Car sounds ricey *** hell! put on my JDM 4-1, godspeed test pipe, 2.5" back w/ no resonators, comptech muffler with custom 2.5" piping

goddaymit, it's so "twanky twanky", goddaym, doesnt have that comptech rumble with the toda B funky idle...

now it's RASPY AS HELL...

btw,i do feel the difference in power....nice, smooth, blah blah blah SOUNDS LIKE ****!

 

what exactly did you expect a straight pipe to the muffler to sound like?

 

like a really really loud AEM CAI @ WOT but the sound coming from the ***....

its because you have a CRAPTECH exhaust...Trade up to a Greddy or Tanabe or N1 apexi those are all badass..REASON I know is because I have all 3 and I have your headers intake and testpipe. Craptech suck

 

I have N1 with Greddy header, 2.25 piping, no resonator, but normal cat. its really really loud, but deep. It hurts your ears if you stand behind it, i jsut picked up a sliencer, so we will see. Putting a midpipe resonator in should get rid of the raspy noise though.

yes, a resonator should help get rid of the raspiness
