Will a 91 CRX Si gauge cluster fit in a 89 Civic STD Chassis?

no I beleive it's something about 88-89 being box, and 90-91 being round

It will fit if you get the corresponding gauge cluster cover so get the cluster cover from a 90 or 91 and yes it will work. I am not positive but I think that there might be some wiring differences as well but dont take my word for it.

thats correct. I had to rewire 2+ wires to get the cluster working correctly. Do a search on google.com, theres a few write ups on the swap...goodluck
