90 teg dist. on 89 teg motor
I am 99% sure it isn't. the 90 distributor is off a b17 engine and the 89 motor is a d16 engine. I'm sure it can be done with some modifying of the bolt holes and vacuum hoses.........but then again since i don't have experience with this i could be totally wrong. good luck

Well, myself I dont have an experience doing that, but as you have said - 90 teg distro is almost the same as 88-91 SI/HF distro.
88-91 SI/HF distro can be made to work with 88-89 Integra engine (D16A1) or with black top ZC. You just need to repin the round plug to a square plug that 89 distro uses. There'll be two wires left sticking out of the 90 distro, just leave them alone - they are for cam angle sensor, and 89 motor has the sensor on a separate cam.
And of course you'll have to get creative with bolting the distro up.
