i'm having a weird problem...first off i'll let you guys know what kind of car i have.

b16 w/ pr3 ecu

a month ago...my car went dead at idle....and it wouldnt start back up...it turned over fine...just wouldnt crank...so i checked all connections and fuses...and then disconnected the battery...then connected it back up..to reset the ecu..and it fired right up.....it didnt do it again till tonight..but..it has been taking a little longer to crank.....so tonight it happened again...and i had to reset the ecu...like 3 times...anyone have any idea what this could be? possibly main relay? there is a clicking sound when i crank it down near the fuse box..any help would be appreciated...thanks


oh yeah...the car runs perfect when its cranked...

sounds like a main relay to me, does it usualy do it when its hot outside? i know thats what happened to mine when it went out.

 

check if you have corrosion on the computer...if yes, maybe there is some in the computer !!! check the igniter inside the distributor, if it's a (oki) you should change it ..

 

i'm not sure if it only does it when its hot....i guess...it really didnt start doing it till the weather warmed up...but...it hasnt really done it every times its been hot....so i'm not sure
