ATTN!!!!! 4thgen revhard mani owners!!!!!
Today i went to install the mani and turbo and what do u know. The **** don't fit. When i put the compressor facing the passengers side it hits the front motor mount. when i put the compressor facing the drivers side i wouldn't be able to close the damn hood... How the hell did u guys get it to fit? Also there like no room in front of the turbo between the the turbo and fans/lines.
you gotta cut some metal off that mount**sigh** I KNOW sucks but with that mani its got too. Also ditch you a/c if you have to ..i am
even with my f-max kit i had to cut a piece off the front motor mount bracket, i also removed my a/c..........my car goes to the dyno monday, getting my hondata installed and tuned w/ delphi 75lb injectors
, hopefully puts out some decent hp, i just got it running again a week ago, here is a new pic of it.......Sorry i just have to show off, im happy that it is running again.

had the same experience. just gotta cut a little bit off to get it to fit. the south florida manifolds are the only ones i know of that dont do that cause they have them test fitted during production and the flor more air cause they are tubular and not cast.
Especially with that Garret turbine housing that reall makes the turbo sit lower. You need to cut some of that mount. Sorry for the inconvennience. This is why we never made a kit for this car.
3 questions, is the install just as hard on the 4th gen ludes with H22s and H23s? Do you have to cut the motor mount no matter what engine you have? Also do you have to make the same modifications with the drag turbo kit? I was thinking of boosting and wanted to know what i had to look forward to.
look forward to cutting here and there. Just make sure u don't break all three bolts that hold your stock header together like i did
Also be carefull when putting the oil pan back on. i lil imperfection and it will leak like a fat chick on her rag. But i'll be gettin my motor mount grinded down tomorrow and part of my manifold flange because it's too long and hits my bracket on the right side. As you can see in the pic it wouldn't go on all the way because of that. But i should have it all done and installed by friday....Wish me luck...

it seems that people replying to this topic have H23s. Is it going to take the same type of modifications to get a turbo in a 4th gen with an H22? Does anyone know? If you have an H22, please let me know what and where needs to be cut.
yes, same exact dimensions for the h22a and h23a.
i used to run a revhard manifold bought from jotech for my h22a accord. ordered it through kenny himself.
personally didn't like the manifold at all. didn't like the quality of the welds which cracked the first day and the runners are way too skinny. just my opinion. but very competitvely priced.

btw, i was running a t3/t4b and had to shave part of my front mount off. front mount on the accord is the same location as the front mount on the prelude. used a fluidyne with slim fans as well.
