obd q's
heres the deal i'm planning on building a monster zc build up and i'm going turbo with it pushing 20 - 24 pounds of boost every things going to be replaced and i was going to a stand alone i want to use a hondata but you have to change it to obd 1 what dizzy will fit on to the zc for obd1 or is there a better stand alone solution? any help would be apreciated
technically you could stay OBD0 and run the same thing I do, the Zdyne gold SECU.. does alot of neat stuff, but not nearly as functional as EMS or hondata. I am also in a similar bind as yourself, I would like to run EMS with my ZC, but you need a obd1 dizzy, Honda actually did make OBD1 ZC's, they are just rare as hell, and probably to hard to find a dizzy for one. I'm sure the best solution would just be to use a P28 (d16z6) Distributor and modify that to fit.
