Default aligning shock tower

once i put the shock tower assembly together (spring/strut), can the mount on top be adjusted to make it align? or do i have to get it aligned when i put it together? when i mean aligned, i mean aligned with the aligning tab that goes in the fork and the two bolts that go up in the shock tower.

thanks in advance

Default Re: aligning shock tower (rasta420)

if you're putting lowering springs in, it usually has enough 'give' to turn the top mount to align into its mounting point, (sometimes thats not the case though.)
