I sure hope I can find people like you when I sell it. Where do you reccomend listing it (eBay, autotrader, etc..)?

unfortunately, that mower died and has been replaced.

Yeah. It used to grind going into 3rd, but I got a new tranny. The throwout bearing was also bad, but that was replaced. I also got a new UNCUT 98 EX engine harness.

All the problems were fixed.

That picture is actually of H&R Race springs. They sat way too low so I traded them for Neuspeeds.

The H&R race were stiff, but not too bad. The ride sure wasn't OEM, but the reason I switched to neuspeeds was because the H&R race's were way too low. They lower the car 2.75" and that was leaving less than 1" clearance on my Type R b-pipe.

 

I would trade my 92 hatch for it.. and some cash.. Let me know..

 

The engine bay looks really good.

 

How safe is your car down on campus? I am getting ready to move down to main campus in the fall. I would'nt want my si to get stollen or f#cked with.

 

The mods listed LOOK great, but before I submitted an offer for a car I'd like to see some dyno numbers and check for any leaks or any signs of smoking, etc.

Built motors are a crap shoot. Some run great, while others smoke and never live up to the hype/potential.

Sometimes stock is worth more to some people.

Got any figures?

I haven't had any problems personally. I only had the car parked in WC5 (which is a gated lot ALL freshman and sophmores park in) for about 4 weeks. Earlier in the year a guy from my dorm got a screw driver stuck in the door lock of his stock Cavalier. There are tons of nice cars parked in WC5 like wrx's, integras, bmw's, riced out civics... I suggest you park towards the back and in the middle of a row so people walking by the lot don't notice your car. I wouldn't worry about it though. I'm sure you have insurance.

 

I was waiting for someone to mention numbers. I haven't had a chance to dyno it yet, but I will soon. I'm also gonna get it compression tested. I have an APEXi rev/speed meter that I am going to put in next week so I can estimate my 1/4 mile times.

I also have a VAFC that I'm debating weather to put in or not. If I'm just gonna sell the car, I don't really want to be putting more money into it, but I'm sure the VAFC will help out with HP. I'm hoping for 170whp atleast.

B16Matt - I parked my "riced" out civic (red CX Hatch, Lowered w/ Rota Group N's and Type R Lip) On 9th street (the "bad part of OSU") along with my friend who has a red '92 GSR with a bunch of mods... we never got messed with. But then of course we did drive around every day. About CW5, I parked there for about 3 months, had no problems... if you park in the very back in the middle that's where the traffic cop sits overnight, so I wouldn't sweat it.

I'd get the V-AFC installed an tuned on a dyno. If tuned and pumpimg out good numbers and it doesn't smoke or consume oil, it should sell in an instant for what you want out of it.

As far as 170whp goes, *IF* it all works out like it should then 170whp is an afterthought. I'd think more like 185-190whp if tuned properly with at least 135-140ft-lbs. of torque.

Granted that everything is in order...

Everywhere you can. List in on Autotrader and ebay. Local newspaper. The more for sale ads, the better the chances of selling.
