How do I remove the rear bench seat in a civic?

I'm trying like hell to remove the rear bench without destoying it....I tried pushing back and lifting up but I cant free the two metal loops on the front of the bench...whats the trick to it?

LOL I did the same thing,there is a large bolt at the back of the seat middle driver side I think.

Remove the top part first. This is done by pushing your seats towards the center, on the side of the seat closest to the outside of the car you will find a black plastic clips, pull those out, now without them the seat is allowed to slide more so press it towards the outside of the car and pull them out. Do the same for both sides. Then to remove the bottom flip back the trunk carpet to expose this 10mm or 12mm bolt (I forget which size it is) but un do that and flip the bottom part forward and lift out.
