I got a hell of a package to replace it with
D16Y8 long block with jrsc & 8psi, FMU and boost timing controller for 2700 CAD (2000 USD)
Parts from my motor I can re-use: p+p head, springs and retainers, cam, 10.5 pistons,4.9 final gear + clutch.
New parts I am going to get: lightened flywheel, rods and a thick *** headgasket to lower the comp. also get everything balanced.
~~~Any other suggestions on the build up?
Should be quick for a sohc.
