Going to look at a 88' CRX Si, What should I look for?

1. Clean body... look for rust around rear wheelwells, make sure all teh fenders are aligned, and make sure it's a clean title... even if the engine runs like ****, it's easy to replace.

make sure the engine doesnt suck!!!!!...dont buy it untill you drive it.......maybe if you can ask if you can hit a strip of the highway and then if you get there gun around fast to see if anything happens.....especially the steering and the cold/hot ratio......seriousley dont buy it without a good honest test drive...if they look weary pull out a 10 and then if they still doo pull out another......haha

also bring a magnet w\u as this will tell u if there is bondo on the car as it wont stick to it and give the chasis as much attn as poss. look for any bulges or any thing that looks out of place

All i can say is rust, rust, rust (cancer of a car).. look for it and make sure the car has none or very little or you will regret buying it later.

dude rust sucks, i spend mad $$$ to buy new quarters and get the car painted, look for a arizona rex, i hear they never have rot
