motor mount inserts vs. honda motor mounts...
i've searched and i found all i could about the suspension parts in urethane however i couldn't find anything about the motor mount inserts...
my motor mounts need to be replaced and i want to go as cheap as possible. however if the motor mount inserts are just going to **** my car up then i'll buy the honda mounts.
anyone have any input?

Beauty in inserts is you retain the stock mount and just pop in the inserts....they put the power to the ground...you will have a rattly dash though....as far as "*******" your car up, I havent heard of this happening yet.
yeah i had the Energy Suspension mount inserts for alittle while until i swapped engines and the rattle really wasn't half as bad as everyone made it out to be...and i think its BS when people say it damages things by the vibration...there are people running aftermarket mounts in their cars for years on end and those shake one hell of a lot more than mount inserts...
also you can just get some silicone window sealant and plug up the holes in your mounts to stiffen them up a tad..costs like $12..there is a link at http://www.homemadeturbo.com under "tech projects"

bottom of the page .. they are $15....u can even call them and they will explain it to ya.... better to put this in before buying mounts..... and the vibration isnt that bad at all....

Also here you can cut a "cutting board" up into strips and hammer the strips into the motor mounts ( cutting boards are made of polyurathane ). But I haven't tried it, and i think I read that on a mistu/stealth site, not sure if it applies to hondas.

Did they give you a front tranny one? Mines busted and I dont feel like shelling out about $60 for it right now.

Oh there are, I've been there many times but the one place that has a decent ammount of 4g's is a little pricey, if $11 can keep it goin then so be it. Jus lookin for other options.
