i think its normal .....?
ok i just installed my new act clutch and pressure plate as well as a 8.8 flywheel
and this thing chatters like a **** .. from a stop to accelerate in 1st gear and when i downshift into 2nd mostly. is this normall and does it just have to break in ?
most any info should be helpfull
(ps) everything went together rather simply with no snags

what u actually mean by chatter?
doesnt that mean that its breaka apart...
explain a lil more....and yes wait til break in peripod its over to see if its ok

sounds like u didn't torque the flywheel bolts down good enough. Made the same mistake we forgot to do one and as a result 6 more unscrewed out. It sounded so bad i almost thought it was a rod knock. Its just the flywheel wobling proally. Take it all apart i bet thats the problem
