In What Order Do I Do my Mods???
I’ve installed the Comptech Icebox and I’m currently saving up for Phase II of my project, which consists of a Spoon 4-2-1 header and CarSound 2.5” cat. My first question is...
1.) Should I include the purchase of an Apex V-AFC with Phase II? Will it be beneficial and/or necessary to tune the fuel delivery with just the bolt-ons I will be having after Phase II?
I heard that having a header and cat with 2.5” piping on an otherwise stock car will see some losses in whp due to lack of back pressure. Phase III of my project will be upgrading the drivetrain as well as getting some Toda Spec B’s. I will probably have to wait between 6 months to a year between Phase II and Phase III, so...
2.) Is it better to get the cams and upgrade the drivetrain first before I get the header and cat?
It’s confusing because some people that install just the 2.5” header/cat combo without any other mods say they definitely feel a pull. Then I read somewhere else that doing this might lead to losses in whp. Please help. Thanks!

2. - Do the cat and header first that way the engine can inhale and exhale as much as the cams would like it too. (VAFC will also be a great help to fine tune the Spec B's)
