i'm sure most of you guys have seen this, its @ least a year old...the picture @ least. i dont even think its a real drawing, but if honda were to offer a new crx, how many of you guys would be interested in it? i sure as hell would be.

 

They are not going to come out with a new CRX if they ever did it would be ugly as hell. The old ones are where its at so why build a new one? If you still think they are going to build one, they already have, its called the Insite.

The only way I'd be interested in a new CRX is if it resembled the orginal to some degree.

Also It would have to have NO LESS than 200hp and weigh less then 2500-600 lbs.

 

If the Insight was made into a real car without the gay electric car add-ons (like rear wheel covers and tiny wheels...etc) then I think it would be dope! That photochop of an Insight without the rear covers and slammed on 19" rims looks hella tight!

160hp would be more than enough to fit it's purpose...

 

Those most basic thing they could do is take a civic hatch or rsx, and pretty much drop the rear seat. If they did this, it would surely weigh in less than 2300 pds. And would probably come with a k series motor. If i did come with ANY k series motor, i would get it, then swap in a k20a2. i'm falling in love w/ that motor more and more the more i learn about it. the honda tech meet "tech discussion" in carson made me want it even more

 

Come on guys how many times are we going to cover this subject.

Yeah if they did it it has the potential to be cool. Although they would most likely ruin what crx owners and fans love about the crx. Styling, light weight and great handeling.

Now for the reality of it. It isn't going to happen....

C230 or whatever number they call it. It's a CRX right down to the glass panel in the rear lower hatch. It looks like Mercedes changed it enough not to get sued by honda for copyright infringrment.

can we see a pic of this? I'm not to familur with Mercedes.

 

The c230 coupe looks nothing like a crx.

The only real similarity is it's a hatch back.

I was just parked next to one, almost same wheelbase, almost same
height, similar track, similar interior, excecpt it has a back seat. And
more luxury, obviously!!
Looks very derivative of a CRX if you ask me. JMHO

 

i dont about a rex but honda needs to come hard soon since the new ford comming out is suppose to be the fastest car under 20k. i believe its gonna be a turbo focus. they had a little movie trailer type thing for it but i dont if you guys have seen it.

 

i once was a benz lot attendent c230 are slow and they look like crap.i would rather have a crx. i raced my friend in one and put 5 car lengths on him halfway through 3rd in my gsr.

 

There is one by Toyota that looks like it, it's still a concept though let me scan the pics and post them up

Honda doesnt care about having the fastest car on the market they are looking at more inportant things like our earth and how to save it with using less fuel and more energy based cars.
