Default Making power with an 84 hatch??

Carborated obviously...are they duel carbed? would one of these in decent condition have any get up and go? (no, Im not talking drag) Im just saying decent spunk for something like auto-X (you know, a parking lot with cones in it)
Just to have fun really, thinking about buying one for a race beater...

Also, anyone have pics of an 84 hatch?
thanks!

Between the 2, for auto x-ing, I'd definitely go with the 3rd gen. Much better suspension setup to begin with over the 2nd gen, plus a slightly larger motor and more stuff to do to it. Slap on a Weber and you'll be quite satisfied.
