Question about the Civic CX.
I'm about to buy a 1996 Civic CX hatchback and I had heard somewhere that it only has 3 valves to a chamber. (I'm guessing that the two exhaust valves are merged into one larger exhaust valve.) Can anyone confirm or correct this? Thanks.

didn't the 92-95 cx have 8 valves?

Yes they did, but the guy had asked about the 12 valve motor too, so I think the other guy was telling him what those came in too.
8 valves = 70hp.

70 HP isn't bad..........on a lawnmower.
