Could they MAKE the oil filter any harder to get to?!?!
My god, I need to train a damn monkey to get up in my engine bay and loosen the hoe for me. For real, I know its a compact but still.
Ok im done

uuhhhh...it's right there on the back of the block. Where else should it go...instead of taking 5 minutes to change oil on a car that has the filer hanging out, it takes 6....
Just jack the car up (use a jackstand of course) and then crawl up underneath it...remove the oil filter...really not all that bad man!

My Camry had the filter right on the front next to the exhaust manifold (engine leaned backwards like H and F-series engines). It was soooo easy to change the oil on that car.

On one of my oil changes, I guess I had tightened the filter too much. I couldn't get it off teh block. So I used the old screwdriver trick. I hammered the screw driver in there and it still wouldn't back off. I ended up slicing all the way through the filter. That thing was toast when I finally got it off.

yeah, changing the oil on those camrys as pie since it was in the front. It was also pointing down so it drained of all oil and you didn't have to worry about spilling oil like on hondas

Word, you can get it from the top or bottom. And if you are lazy like me then use one of those wrench things that fits on your ratchet and matchs the filter perfectly. Pops off in 10 seconds.
If you really think the honda motors b-d are tough you need to go to american trucks. My s-10 blazer you had to undo a flap reach around the block and then get to it. I lost three layers of skin per oil change ont hose. Honda's are a breeze. Just don't be a bone head and wrench the thing on harder than life iteslf.
You must have never changed oil on a Prelude Type SH or worse, an Acura Vigor or 2.5TL, huh?
Here's a tip:
Buy one of those 3/8th drive oil filter cups from Honda. It has an actual part number, and can be purchased over the counter at any Honda dealer.
I got one from the Snap-On truck.
It's a cup that fits the PT7/POH oil filters perctly and snaps to any 3/8ths drive hand ratchet.
...just don't use it to tighten the filter back on.

Let me fetch that Honda part number too.

My only beef with the filter is u can't get more than a half an inch turn with out hitting somthing.
I was just frustrated, didn't mean to cause a debate
