apexi vtec controller, hard to install?
Well im a pretty savy person when it comes to technical things but messing with my cars wiring...well....not to sure about that one. im looking into the Apexi VTEC controller. are these hard to wire? also, is there any real damage that one of these could cause to my engine? when i ask that i mean is there something that I could do to mess up my engine with it, or is it stupid proof? sorry if these are stupid questions but i wasnt able to find the answers elsewhere. thanks

if you dont understand ecu pinouts and basic wiring I wouldnt do it, I did it myself first try works great, the book is actually descent for the installation process compared to the setup instrucions
If you can put in a car stereo, you can install the V-AFC. Just take your time and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! Read all the paper work in the box PRIOR to installing. Any problems could easily be resolved by this forum.

Yeah we did mine in about an hour. just be careful where you ground the bitch. Ground it to close and you could fry the whole thing.

If u can follow instructions, have some common sense, can solder and wire up a stereo you should be OK. Else let someone who knows do it. Should take 1-2 hrs depending on the person installing it
