o.t. easiest way to take itr stickers off???
Moving to a new apt. complex and want to be as low key as possible. And don't want to scratch that cw paint either any tips will help. Tried search but nothing. thanx
I know someone is going to tap into the thread telling you the easiest way to do this but please think about it thoughly before doing it. Once taken off the stickers are garbage and new ones cost 35.00 each. Mounting them over again in the right spot is also an ordeal. I know you wanna go stealth, but if you doing it do EVERYHING, like removing the wing, chin spoiler etc.. Theives are stupid and won't get detered by a debadged R.

Putting mazda rims with hub covers helps even more. I even had some import "Guru's" drive my car and still swear it was not a Type R
Oh well, back to the topic. Simply heat them up with a blow dryer then peal them off. Then I cleaned the wax of with mineral spirits. Don't use too much and wipe it clean as soon as you finish (I rubbed it a little, then cleaned it, then rubbed it a little then cleaned it). Then when u are all finished, make sure you wax that area and any other area the mineral spirits touched as it will remove your wax.

new stickers are a walk in the park... they have little tabs on the mounting papers that you center.
as far as removing them, i use my fingernail and Afta (chemical, found at hardware stores and grocery stores) and usually pull them off one sheet, then attack the adhesive left behind. it's fairly simple, and if you rush it, you will scratch your car. when i did a fellow board member's car, i did the rear emblem and the sides, before he was done with a 1/3rd of the other side. i have a lot of practice removing stickers though. my g/f thinks i am nuts cause i debadge everything....even my tv

I will put money that your car still gets messed with. Why? Because it's an Integra; prime theft target. they will look inside, and; oh joy, nice seats, etc.
This is a waste of your time. Just lower your comprehensive deductible to $0 and get ready to make some claims.
Or move in to a nicer apt. complex.
No offense intended, but if you can't afford to buy an R and live somewhere somewhat safe, amybe you should re-think the whole thing. I mean, it's like buying a Ferrari and living in a low income neighborhood. You are asking for trouble.
