Anybody in here NOT have a headliner in their CRX?
I'm doing a plug for my sunroof soon, very soon...I might just leave the headliner out of the car after I'm done with it, but I want to see what it looks like first. Anyone have pics of a CRX without a headliner?
Also, I'm wondering if I can still attach the visors and rearview mirror without the headliner.
Thanks guys!!
Also, if anybody would be interested in a plug for their CRX sunroof, let me know...I may be making an extra that I can sell. PM me for details if you wish...

OK well even though I do have the headliner in I have seen plenty of CRX's without them. I would say that if your going to be putting a plug in it to get a headliner from a CRX that didnt have a sunroof just cause of the looks of it. If you didnt have a sunroof to begin with they dont look too bad without them but I like them in personally. As for the sunvisors yes you can put them in without the headliner in. Oh and sorry no pics of it out but the most you will probably will find is either Si's with the sunroof in without the headliner or the CRX's without a sunroof period without the headliner. Hope I helped a little.
Need pictures huh. Drop me an E-mail and I can try to get a few for you from our race prepped Si. The sunroof is not only gone-but we put a full DX skin pnel on in place of the Si parts-not cheap but looks great. With the headliner out you will see the support structure for the sunroof and when that is gone only the pieces that are attached to the skin are visible. Can you reinstall the visors-sure the mirror is on a bracket that is part of the body too.
Thanks guys, you helped a lot!!
I might get the headliner for the DX...that's not a bad idea...I'm also glad to hear that the visors/mirrors will still go in without the headliner.
The headliner in my CRX is actually in pretty bad shape compared to the rest of the car. It has these bubby ridge-type things right above the driver's left shoulder, and it is a little discolored in places.
I guess I could always re-install the one I have and just leave a hole where the plug is...
I know it's a bitch to get the headliner out without breaking the clips that hold it in, am I right? I also have to rip out a bunch of the interior panels to get the headliner out too...
