Si tranny took a shit on me
well guys.... after last fridays great run at the dragstrip and running a good 15.1 my tranny decided to go bye bye
on sunday i just pull my car from my parking spot and KABOOM! and car jumped..... check under the hood.... oil driping.... car wont go and this is what i found

well i actually saved the Si final drive off the Si tranny.... was a miracle that survived... well anyways i frakesteined a DX/Si tranny today....
good news... its working great..... and hopefully it will not break on me again!
just decided to share this nasty moment with ya'll....
any questions about the procedure go ahead and ask....

What are you running to lunch trannies? what's done to the motor? If you run 15's the stock si tranny should hold up. How are you launching?

he pin that holds the differential pin came off and let the diff pin slide out and lock against the casing....
i just launch between 3500-4000.. i get my best 60' that way(2.2 sec)
on this DX differential the pin look more secure........
as for the post it gives chance to newbies to ask some questions aboutt the conversion of a DX to Si using a small bearing differential....
